In the Azerbaijani city of Ganja the funeral has taken place of a soldier who the day before was killed in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. The dead soldier was named as Seymur Eldar Alesgerov.
A statement by the Azerbainai Defence Ministry on Saturday (15 February) said that the soldier died as a result of Armenian fire and said Armenia was responsible for any escalation of the situation on the line of contact.
