Armenians celebrate 20th anniversary of "Nagorno Karabakh Republic"

President Serzh Sargsyan led Armenian dignitaries at a celebration in Stepanakert to mark the 20th anniversary of the self declared independence of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, describing it as "a celebration of all Armenians". NKR remains unrecognised by any country and its existance is strongly disputed by Azerbaijan. In Baku, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has described the current status quo in the region as unacceptable for both Azerbaijan as well as the world community.
