Armenia marks 100th anniversary of first republic

Armenia on Monday marked the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the first republic in 1918.

Officials, led by president Armen Sargsian and Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan payed homage to those who fell in the struggle for independence at the Sardarapat memorial in Yerevan.

Afterwards there was a military display on the main square of Yerevan.
