Armenia to have new Ministry of investments and assistance for entrepreneurs

Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan told a meeting of the cabinet on Thursday (22 September) that as part of his reform of the government he will be creating a new Ministry responsible for Investments and Assistance to Entrepreneurs.

The new Ministry will also take over the functions of the current Ministry of Economy

 "With the new name we wish to show investors that they have a department [in Armenia], where they can submit their complaints, wishes andrecommendations," added Karapetyan. "This ministry will also help entrepreneurs deal with other institutions, so they don't encounter any obstacles."
