Nagorno-Karabakh's Acting FM:

The false propaganda of the Azeri authorities is aimed at misleading their own people and the world community and at forcing us to give up our fair claims, Acting Foreign Minister of Nagorno-Karabakh Vasily Atajanyan said in an interview to Nagorno-Karabakh's Public TV Company.

ArmInfo's own correspondent from Stepanakert quotes Atajanyan as saying that the Azeri authorities' anti-Armenian hysteria is aimed at presenting Nagorno-Karabakh as a violator of human rights and international humanitarian norms.

"The Azeri authorities are trying to accuse us of something they do themselves, namely, violate the rights of their own citizens and ethnical minorities. This fact has been confirmed by many European and international organizations. And though scot-free today, Azerbaijan will certainly be punished for it one day," Atajanyan said.

He said that Nagorno-Karabakh should intensify and improve its propaganda but use facts only.

It says they act as "civilian recruitment head-hunters", targeting individuals working in British politics to solicit "insider insights". UK Security minister Dan Jarvis has said the government will not tolerate "covert and calculated" attempts to interfere with the UK's sovereign affairs, after MI5 warned MPs of the risk from Chinese spies.
