Lavrov searching for a formula on Karabakh.

The Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told a press conference in Moscow on Monday that everybody knows what the solution for the Karabakh conflict is, but nobody can put it in words yet.

Lavrov was speaking after a meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov who is on an official visit to the Russian capital.

The Russian News Agency Itar-Tass quoted the Russian Foreign Minister as saying that "Nobody denies the fact that the conflict has lasted for too long".  The Minister added that "There is a realistic basis for concluding agreements. Everybody agrees with that. Now it is important to translate this understanding into the language of specific formulas," he said adding that this is usually "not the easiest matter."
