Karabakh: Spiral of violence continues.

Armenian and Azerbaijani sources have reported that they have suffered casualties over the last twenty four hours as the spiral of violence on the Karabakh front line continued.

Azerbaijan says that one of its soldiers, Farid Aghayev was killed in fighting on Thursday evening (5th). Armenia says that one of its soldiers, Shakspir Hakboyan was killed at the same time, although it is not clear if this was in the same incident. 

It is not only soldiers who are dying in the present violence. Armenian sources say that the Azerbaijani side started shooting, late Thursday night, in the direction of the border village of Nerkin Karmraghbyur in Armenia's Tavush Region. As a result, a civilian - 61 year old Vanik Ghukasyan was hit and died later in hospital. he Armenian sources say that the shooting stopped on Friday at around 1 am according to the agency news.am.
