France, Russia and the United States ready to host another meeting of the Presidents or Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan "at the appropriate time"

The new ministry will absorb the current Ministry of Economy as part of the current restructuring of the government being implemented by the new prime Minister who took over a few days ago

The United States Ambassador to Georgia, Ian Kelly, this week was quoted as describing the campaign ahead of the 8 October parliamentary elections as "very good and exemplary". Indeed, those familiar with Georgia's election history are pleasantly surprised, but point out that there are two weeks of campaigning yet, and of course election day itself, and surprises cannot be excluded.

Belarus president Alexander Lukashenko has lashed out at what he called "undisguised pressure" from Russia and has questioned the efficiency of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).

The delegation from the Congress of local and regional authorities of the Council of Europe, that monitored last Sunday's partial local elections in Armenia, has issued a statement, posted on the Congress website. The Head of the delegation in its statement raised the issue of the accuracy of the electoral list, as well as what it calls the "grey zone" of assisted voting.

One of the issues under discussion is the return of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly.
