News.az: Karabakh problem is threat to regional security – European Commissioner

 

The existing conflicts in the OSCE space, including the Nagorno-Karabakh problem, are a threat to security and stability in the retion.

The statement came from European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Stefan Fule at a meeting with OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier, Gun.Az reports.

Fule expressed support for cooperation with the OSCE and continuation of efforts to resolve the frozen conflicts in the region.

The meeting noted that the Georgian, Moldovan and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflicts are threats to security and stability. The sides noted that finding a long-term solution to the conflicts is a priority.

Fule underlined that the European Commission will continue to support the work of the OSCE.
