International Atomic Energy Agency: "Iran could enrich uranium again within months"

In an interview with the American broadcaster CBS, Rafael Grossi, director general of the IAEA, said that Iran has the technical capabilities to enrich uranium again ‘within months’.

Almost a week after American attacks on three Iranian nuclear sites, it has become clear that the sites were damaged. While the White House claims that Iran's nuclear programme has been destroyed, American media outlets are questioning this.

In the interview, Grossi said that there had been "significant damage" but that the nuclear sites had not been completely destroyed."They could start operating centrifuges to produce enriched uranium again within a few months," Grossi said.
