Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers hold meeting in New York

Armenia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov held a meeting on Monday evening, 23 September in New York.

The foreign ministries of the two countries issued short statements informing about the meeting but giving little detail

They said that the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov of the Russian Federation, Stéphane Visconti of France and Andrew Schofer of the United States of America and the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk also participated in the meeting.

There has been no comment or statement by the OSCE or the Minsk group about the meeting so far.
