Georgian PM comments on Georgia-Russian relations

Ivanishvili stressed that in order to improve relations with Russia he made maximum.

Ivanishvili commented on Georgia-Russian relations and stressed that Georgia has no choice other than negotiations with EU and US in terms of foreign policy, against the background of silence from Russia. "We are limited in the maneuver and have to negotiate with the EU and the US, as there is no other way for us, moreover, it is a geopolitical choice," - he said.

Ivanishvili stressed that in order to improve relations with Russia he made maximum - appointed a special representative to Russia Zurab Abashidze. "But Moscow does not give us an answer, but I think they will analyze the situation and make the statement, something will move forward," said Ivanishvili, adding that “in such circumstances” he "cannot" visit Russia.
