20 September: A spokesperson for the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry this morning described the situation on the line of contact seperating Armenian and Azerbaijani forces as tense, amidst reports of several cease fire violations during the night. (APA)

The report comes as Azerbaijan conducts large scale military exercises in Nakhichevan and Armenia prepares for a large military parade in Yerevan to mark the anniversary of its independence
