The two presidents noted their satisfaction with the successful development of bilateral relations in various areas in recent years.

They stressed that prospects were good for expanding relations in politics, the economy, energy and elsewhere.

Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence that relations would be strengthened and that Georgi Parvanov's official visit would play a major role in this.

The meeting discussed bilateral, regional and international relations, state-run news agency AzerTAj reported.
