Railroad to be build linking Mosul to the Turkish border

A railway line will be built between Iraq's northern city of Mosul and Turkey, according to the governor of Mosul, Najim al-Jubouri. The railway between Mosul's center towards the Turkey border aimed to reduce the intensity at the land border crossing.

A team of engineers with the support of Turkish companies will start laying a new modern rail line between the two countries in the coming days.

No details are available on the project budget and cost.
