Catholicos Patriarch of All Georgia Illia II has congratulated his countrymen on the holding of successful elections.
This victory does not belong to one party; it is a victory of all Georgia. Those who think that they lost are winners as well and I congratulate you on this" said the patriarch who was speaking after a Sunday religious service at the the Holy Trinity Cathedral.
The Patriarch also congratulated people on the peaceful conduct of elections.
"I want to congratulate you on the peaceful conduct of elections. This is a sign that love is growing in the country. But at the same time, I would like to say that this is a victory not only of one party but of the whole country", the Patriarch added
