Pashinyan emphasises transparency in dealing with the Karabakh issue

Armenian prime minister Nikol Pashinyan, on Wednesday (19 December), referred to ongoing diplomatic contacts connected with the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Pashinyan told journalists in Yerevan that he had given instructions for all contacts to be public in order to avoid intrigue.

Pashinyan mentioned as an example the visits of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Special representative Andrzej Kasprzyk visits to the region

He noted, that the regional trips of Kasprzyk are strictly routine ones, and they were often not reported or covered by the media. He said he now gave instructions that all contacts should be covered.

Pashinyan reiterated in his comments to journalists that no Armenian government had been so transparent on the Karabakh issue as his administration.
