New Chairman of Kazakhstan senate

A new chairman of the Kazakh Senate has been elected.

The former Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbayev has been elected the new chairman of the Senate.

Dariga Nazarbayeva, the daughter of former Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, held this post, which she resigned last week.
