Clinton and Davitoglu discuss Karabakh and Turkish-Armenian Relations

During her visit to Turkey over the weekend to participate in the meeting of the International Contact Group on Libya, the US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton also had a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davitoglu.

The Turkish media reported that both the Karabakh conflict and Turkey's relations with Armenia were discussed during the meeting.

Today's Zaman quoted Clinton as saying that the United States welcomes Turkey as a rising leader in the region and beyond, reiterating what she called the “rock solid and unwavering” commitment of the US to the security of Turkey.

U.S. President Donald Trump has warned that he would order fresh attacks on Iran's nuclear sites should Tehran try to restart facilities that the United States bombed in June. Pezeshkian made his comments during a visit to the country's Atomic Energy Organization on 2nd November during which he met with senior managers from Iran’s nuclear industry.
