Tokayev dismisses government

The President of Kazakhstan Kasim-Jomart Tokayev has dismissed the government.

According to a report by the official Kazinform news agency, Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar will continue to serve as Acting Prime Minister temporarily and members of the government of Kazakhstan will continue to perform their duties until a new government is formed.

No reason for the dismissal of the government was made known.
