Russians request Putin in petition to dismiss Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov

A Russian citizens' petition has been launched calling for the dismissal of Ramzan Kadyrov as leader of the Chechen Republic in the North Caucasus.

The petition calls on the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, to dismiss the Chechen leader, Ramzan Kadyrov, for serious human rights violations.

As of Wednesday, more than 160,000 people had signed the Change.org petition titled "Kadyrov-resign!".
