Two Georgian who have been held by the de facto authorities in South Ossetia have been released back into Georgian jurisdiction. According to Georgian media sources Levan Kutashvili and Ioseb Pavliashvili crossed back into Georgian jurisdiction on Sunday evening.
The two Georgians were detained on 22 February together with Archil Tatunashvili, who was subsequently reported as having died whilst in detention in South Ossetia.
A number of international organisations and Church leaders have been involved in trying to secure the release of the two men. There is no news yet as to when the body of Tatunashvili will be returned to his family.
