Minsk Group co-Chair hold separate meetings with Armenian and Azerbaijani Ministers

The co-Chairmen of the OSCE Minsk Process on the Karabakh issue held separate meeting with the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, on the margins of the UN General Assembly meeting in New York.

Later on Saturday (23 September), the co-Chairmen, representing France, Russia and the United States will meet with the two foreign ministers together. The meeting is expected to focus on organising a summit between the presidents of the two countries later in the year. The Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan were both in New York this week, where they addressed the UN General Assembly. The tone of their speeches was very belicose and increased concerns about the conditions for a summit in the near future.
