Houthis end cease fire with US and say they will attack American forces in the Red Sea

Yemen's Houthi Movement has ended a cease fire with the United States that it negotiated last month with the mediation of Oman.

The Ansar Allah movement will launch attacks on US forces in the Red Sea in response to US strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities, Mohammed al-Buheiti, a member of the Yemeni movement's politburo, said in an interview with Al Jazeera.

"The first stage will be to attack American forces in the Red Sea," a Houthi spokesman said.

According to him, the Houthis will expand the scale of the conflict until the “aggression against Iran” stops.

He also added that the ceasefire agreement between the United States and the Houthis was now null and void.
