Turkish and Azerbaijani leaders discuss regional issues in Baku

Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildrim, on Wednesday (14 March) arrived in Baku on a two-day working visit. The Turkish Prime Minister shortly after had a meeting with President Ilham Aliyev to discuss bilateral and regional issues. Binali Yildirim is also scheduled to take part in the 6th Global Baku Forum to be held on March 15-18.

Azerbaijani media says that Prime Minister Yildirim is accompanied during his visit by his wife, Semiha Yildirim, as well as the Deputy Chairman of Justice and Development Party (AKP) Mehdi Eker, the head of the Turkey-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group Necdet Unuvar, the Turkish Nationalist Movement Party MP Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, former speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Hikmet Cetin, among others.
