ОБСЕ в 2013 году совершила 17 визитов на линию соприкосновения вокруг Карабаха.

В 2013 году члены миссии представителя действующего председателя ОБСЕ Анджейя Каспшика побывали на линии соприкосновения, разделяющей армянские и азербайджанские силы вокруг зоны нагорно-карабахского конфликта, 17 раз. Посол Андрей Каспшик, нынешний спецпредставитель, сообщил агентству Trend, что визиты проводились с согласия конфликтующих сторон и что в ходе визитов местные военные и гражданские чиновники высказывали озабоченность по поводу текущей ситуации в сфере безопасности.

Каспшик сообщил, что президенты двух стран договорились активизировать свои контакты и усилия в 2014 году в разрешении конфликта, и это дало основание для оптимизма.
