В Азербайджане отмечается годовщина Ходжалинских событий

В Азербайджане отмечается годовщина расправы над мирным населением в городе Ходжалы в 1992 году. Во вторник (26 февраля) в Баку был проведен национальный марш в связи с 27-й годовщиной событий, произошедших в Ходжалы, когда армянские военные формирования захватили город, что является одной из самых уродливых страниц в истории нагорно-карабахского конфликта.

Президент Азербайджана Ильхам Алиев, первая леди и вице-президент Мехрибан Алиева и другие официальные лица возглавили шествие по улицам центрального Баку. Тысячи людей присоединились к маршу, который стал ежегодным мероприятием по случаю годовщины трагедии и почтения памяти тех, кто в нем погиб, среди которых было много гражданских лиц, включая женщин, детей и стариков.

Президент Ильхам Алиев возложил венок к мемориалу памяти жертв Ходжалинской трагедии.
