Новым мэром Тбилиси стал Каха Каладзе

"Грузинская мечта" похоже консолидирует власть в своих руках. По итогам прошедших в субботу (22 октября) муниципальных выборов в Грузии в большинстве случаях победу одержали кандидаты от партии "Грузинская мечта".

Основное внимание было приковано к выборам на пост мэра Тбилиси, где с убедительным отрывом победу одержал харизматичный кандидат от "Грузинской мечты", Каха Каладзе, по данным опросов общественного мнения, за него проголосовали 54% избирателей, оставив тем самым своих противников далеко позади.

Эти выборы стали первым крупным испытанием для Грузинской мечты со времен ее победы на парламентских выборах в октябре 2016 года. Это также первые выборы в стране со времен раскола Единого национального движения. По предварительным данным, опубликованным Центральной избирательной комиссией Грузии, явка избирателей на национальном уровне составила 45,64%, что означает около 1,570,500 человек проголосовавших на выборах.

Явка избирателей в Тбилиси составила 43,4%.
