Давид Усупашвили покидает Республиканскую партию Грузии

Давид Усупашвили объявил сегодня об уходе из Республиканской партии, которую он возглавлял до последнего времени, со ссылкой на разногласия с партией по политическим и тактическим вопросам. Республиканская партия продемонстрировала очень слабые результаты на последних парламентских выборах в Грузии, получив менее 2% голосов избирателей.

Усупашвили является одним из самых авторитетных грузинских политиков. С 2012 года до настоящего времени он занимал пост председателя парламента Грузии. Его высоко ценят многие западные партнеры Грузии.

В заявлении Усупашвили говорит, что не будет занимать каких-либо государственных должностей, и что остается в оппозиции и дальнейшие заявления сделает в ближайшие 2-3 месяца.
