Армянская община в Иране готовится праздновать Рождество. 6 января Армянская Апостольская Церковь отмечает праздник Рождества.

Иранская газета Tehran Times опубликовала фотографии армянской общины, отмечающей начало рождественских праздников в минувшие выходные. Фотографии были сделаны в субботу вечером в кафедральном соборе Святого Саркиса в Тегеране, где собрались представители армянской общины для празднования начала нового христианского года. По приблизительным оценкам, в Иране проживает около 150 тысяч армян - половина из них в Тегеране. Они составляют крупнейшее религиозное меньшинство в стране.
