Административная граница между Грузией и Южной Осетией закрыта на три дня

В субботу была закрыта административная граница (ABL) между Грузией и самопровозглашенной республикой Южная Осетия.

Такое решение было принято властями самопровозглашенной Южной Осетии, якобы, с целью "обеспечения безопасности" в период годовщины грузино-российской войны, разразившейся 8 августа 2008 года.

Как сообщает Agenda.ge, все контрольно-пропускные пункты вдоль ABL будут оставаться закрытыми до 9 часов утра 9 августа, заявили власти в Цхинвали.

После конфликта 2008 года вдоль ABL, протяженность которой 400км, постепенно был возведен забор, и сильно ограничено передвижение. В прошлом границу неоднократно закрывали, особенно во время больших праздников или спорных политических моментов.

LINKS Europe has successfully completed the first phase of its project to develop the Armenia-Azerbaijan dialogue as part of its commitment within the EU4Peace III programme, funded by the European Union. In this first phase, which lasted from September 2024 to April 2025, LINKS Europe conducted an assessment of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and mobilised the personnel necessary for delivering the project output. LINKS Europe Foundation is pleased to announce the names of the chairs/co-chairs of the five thematic groups within the initiative.
