Эдвард Налбандян:

Первая стадия переговоров по нагорно-карабахскому конфликту может считаться законченной после включения в переговорный процесс карабахской стороны и достижения ее согласия по поводу принципов решения конфликта. 

Об этом заявил министр иностранных дел Армении Эдвард Налбандян в ходе сегодняшней совместной пресс-конференции с министром иностранных дел Швеции Карлом Бильдтом.

"Нашим основным принципом является, то, что население Карабаха должно иметь право на самоопределение", - отметил он.

Коснувшись недавних заявлений азербайджанских чиновников о последнем шансе решения вопроса на предстоящей встрече президентов в Казани, Налбандян отметил, что ничего не мешает Азербайджану использовать данный "последний шанс" для урегулирования конфликта мирным путем, поскольку именно Азербайджан продолжает выступать с воинственными заявлениями, несмотря на призывы международной общественности.

Отметим, что очередная встреча президентов Армении и Азербайджана пройдет при посредничестве президента России 25 июня в Казани.
