Глава армянской делегации в ПАСЕ Давид Арутюнян согласился с формулировкой корреспондента АрмИнфо, что армянская делегация в ПАСЕ и председатель ПАСЕ, турецкий депутат Мевлют Чавушоглу, фактически находятся в состоянии открытого противостояния.


"Да, в некотором смысле у нас происходит открытое противостояние с Мевлютом Чавушоглу, который выказывает явную тенденцию к организации работы подкомитета по Нагорному Карабаху", - отметил Арутюнян. Он добавил, что в течение года, когда проводились встречи между делегациями Армении и Азербайджана, предложение о моратории на взаимные обвинения звучало уже тогда. "К сожалению, ни одно из наших предложений, когда мы указывали на необходимость сначала обсудить то, чем именно будет заниматься этот подкомитет, или создать условия для действия моратория - ни одно из наших предложений не было удостоено должного внимания. Это вызывает подозрения в объективности этого процесса>, - отметил Арутюнян.
