Выборы в органы местного самоуправления и мэров городов состоятся 21 октября

Президент Грузии, Георгий Маргвелашвили, издал указ о назначении даты проведения выборов в органы местного самоуправления и мэров городов на 21 октября. Указ был подписан премьер-министром Георгием Квирикашвили.

Эти выборы станут первой предвыборной проверкой правительства грузинской мечты под руководством Квирикашвили после ошеломительной победы на парламентских выборах в октябре 2016 года. Под пристальным вниманием будут проходить выборы мэра Тбилиси, в которых примут участие ряд оппозиционных кандидатов. Прявящую партию "Грузинская мечта" на выборах в мэры в Тбилиси будет представлять Кахи Каладзе, который недавно ушел с поста вице-премьера и министра энергетики для участия в выборах.
