Переговоры Комиссара ЕС Хана с президентом Алиевым в Баку

В пятницу, в Баку, состоялась встреча Комиссара Европейского Союза по вопросам политики соседства и расширения Йоханнеса Хана с президентом Азербайджана Ильхамом Алиевым

Ильхам Алиев приветствовал тот факт, что на следующий день после его визита в Брюссель в феврале начались переговоры о новом соглашении между Азербайджаном и ЕС и, что переговоры продвигаются успешно.

"Наша страна является надежным партнером ЕС", - заявил Алиев Хану, добавив, что отношения между ЕС и Азербайджаном носят стратегический характер и основаны на многолетнем сотрудничестве".

Согласно тому же источнику, Комиссар Хан подчеркнул важность нахождения путей решения вопросов, которые могут повлиять на дальнейшее развитие отношений между Азербайджаном и ЕС. Хан отметил, что сотрудничество во взаимных интересах обеих сторон. Он отметил, что Европейский Союз заинтересован в стабильности соседних стран и региона.
