Патриархия приветствует визит Франциска в Грузию, и считает, что протесты против его визита неприемлемы

В среду вечером (28 сентября), Патриархия Грузинской Православной Церкви выступила с заявлением, в котором подтвердила, что приветствует визит Франциска, который прибудет в Грузию в пятницу по приглашению президента Грузии Георгия Маргвелашвили и Католикос-Патриарха Грузии Ильи II.

В своем заявлении грузинская церковь выступила против желания некоторых элементов церкви, которые ранее протестовали против визита Папы, заявив, что такие протесты совершенно неприемлемы. В заявлении говорится:

"Патриархия приветствует с уважением гостя и надеется, что его визит будет способствовать углублению многосторонних отношений и укреплению мира в регионе."

In this first phase, which lasted from September 2024 to April 2025, LINKS Europe conducted an assessment of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and mobilised the personnel necessary for delivering the project output. LINKS Europe Foundation is pleased to announce the names of the chairs/co-chairs of the five thematic groups within the initiative.
