Новый спецпредставитель ЕС впервые встретился с президентом Армении

В пятницу (1 декабря) состоялась первая встреча между новым спецпредставителем Европейского Союза по вопросам Южного Кавказа Тойво Клааром с президентом Армении Сержем Саргсяном. Клаар был официально назначен на должность в прошлом месяце, заменив на этом посту спецпредставителя Герберта Зальбера.

Как сообщается на сайте президента Армении, президент Саргсян приветствуя Тойво Клаара выразил надежду, что он внесет свой вклад в процесс урегулирования нагорно-карабахского конфликта, возглавляемый Минским процессом ОБСЕ, а также в двусторонние отношения между ЕС и Арменией.

На встрече также присутствовали министр иностранных дел Армении Эдвард Налбандян, глава делегации ЕС в Армении, посол Петр Свитальски и политический советник EUSR Торстен Арен.
