Новруз Мамедов назначен на пост премьер-министра Азербайджана

Парламент Азербайджана в субботу (21 апреля) назначил Новруза Мамедова на пост премьер-министра страны. Мамедов был предложен на этот пост президентом Азербайджана Ильхамом Алиевым.

Мамедов родился в 1947 году в Бабекском районе Нахчыванской Автономной Республики.

Мамедов долгое время является одним из представителей правящей элиты Азербайджана. 12 апреля 1997 года назначен заведующим отделом внешних связей Администрации Президента Азербайджанской Республики. С первого июня 2017 года - помощник Президента Азербайджана по вопросам внешней политики - заведующий отделом.

Ранее президент Ильхам Алиев поблагодарил уходящего премьер-министра Артура Расузаде за его долгую службу. Расузаде являлся премьер-министром Азербайджана на протяжении всего президентства Ильхама Алиева с 2003 года, а до этого во время правления его отца Гейдара Алиева.
