Министр иностранных дел Италии находится в Армении

Министр иностранных дел Италии, Паоло Джентилони, во вторник прибыл в Ереван, завершая этим самым свой короткий визит на Южный Кавказ. Джентилони провел встречу с министром иностранных дел Армении, Эдвардом Налбандяном, а позже, как ожидается, встретится с президентом Армении, Сержем Саргсяном.

Налбандян и Джентилони обсудили вопросы, касающиеся карабахского конфликта, нового рамочного соглашения между Арменией и ЕС, а также различные двусторонние и международные вопросы.

Джентилони первый министр иностранных дел Италии, посетивший регион после того, как все три страны Южного Кавказа восстановили свою независимость в 1991 году. Визит проходит на фоне приготовлений Италии взять на себя важную роль в Совете Безопасности ООН, затем председательство в G7, и председательство в ОБСЕ в 2018 году.

LINKS Europe has successfully completed the first phase of its project to develop the Armenia-Azerbaijan dialogue as part of its commitment within the EU4Peace III programme, funded by the European Union. In this first phase, which lasted from September 2024 to April 2025, LINKS Europe conducted an assessment of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and mobilised the personnel necessary for delivering the project output. LINKS Europe Foundation is pleased to announce the names of the chairs/co-chairs of the five thematic groups within the initiative.
