ЕС отреагирует незамедлительно, если президент США применит торговые санкции

Европейский Союз примет ответные меры в отношении США, если ограничительные меры Вашингтона в сфере торговли затронут экспорт блока. Об этом заявил в понедельник на пресс-конференции в Брюсселе официальный представитель Еврокомиссии Маргаритис Схинас.

"ЕС готов отреагировать незамедлительно и соответствующе, если наш экспорт будет затронут какими-либо ограничительными мерами США по торговле", - сообщил журналистам Маргаритис Схинас.

Накануне президент США Дональд Трамп пригрозил противостоять "очень несправедливой" торговой политике ЕС.

В интервью британскому телевидению в минувшее воскресенье Трамп заявил, что проблемы с ЕС в сфере торговли "могут вылиться в нечто большее". По его словам, американской продукции очень сложно попасть на европейский рынок.
