Азербайджан заблокировал доступ к некоторым сайтам

Бакинский суд вынес решение в пользу заблокировать доступ к некоторым независимым интернет сайтам, в том числе азербайджанской службы "RFE/RL", финансируемой США, базирующегося в Берлине "Meydan TV" и оппозиционной газеты "Азадлыг".

Суд 12 мая удовлетворил запрос Минсвязи Азербайджана о блокировке 5 сайтов на территории страны, но одновременно отказал в ходатайстве блокировать в дальнейшем эти сайты, если они будут работать под другими именами.

RFE/RL заявила, что постановление Бакинского суда, по их мнению, является "попыткой открыто ввести цензуру" и запугать независимую прессу в Азербайджане.

Согласно Радио Свобода, министерство ограничило доступ к сайтам с 27 марта по указанию Генеральной прокуратуры, которая заявила, что они "представляют угрозу" национальной безопасности Азербайджана.

Сайты обвиняются в "содействии незаконной деятельности радикальных религиозных групп и других противоправных деяниях, а также в распространении призывов к изменению Конституции Азербайджанской Республики силой; деструктивных действиях, направленных на подрыв социальной стабильности, и организации гражданских беспорядков".
