Азербайджан похоронил своего убитого генерала

Азербайджан в среду (15 июля) похоронил одного из своих наиболее уважаемых генералов, который был убит вчера во время артиллерийских боев между армянскими и азербайджанскими силами в северной части их международной границы.

Тело генерал-майора Полада Гашимова было захоронено в Бакинской аллее Мученников вместе с полковником Ильгаром Мирзаевым, главой артиллерийского корпуса страны.

Эмоции в столице Азербайджана накалились с тех пор, как в воскресенье начались боевые действия. Во вторник вечером демонстранты, кричащие в поддержку армии, ворвались в здание парламента в Баку и были вытеснены впоследствии полицией. Далее были спонтанные вспышки в других частях страны, в ходе которых люди призывали к более жесткому подходу правительства в вопросе Карабаха и конфликта с Арменией.
