Армения и Грузия проводят политические переговоры

Во вторник (25 декабря) в Тбилиси состоялось очередное заседание механизма политических консультаций между Арменией и Грузией во главе с заместителями министров иностранных дел соответствующих стран.

Армянскую делегацию возглавил заместитель министра иностранных дел Шаварш Кочарян. Грузинскую делегацию возглавил заместитель министра иностранных дел Лаша Дарсалия.

По сообщению пресс-службы МИД Армении, стороны обсудили широкий круг вопросов, представляющих взаимный интерес, в том числе вопросы региональной безопасности, развития двусторонних отношений в экономической и гуманитарной сферах, а также сотрудничества в рамках международных организаций.

Визиты на высшем уровне в 2018 году были отмечены с удовлетворением. Был обсужден вопрос о проведении заседания межправительственной комиссии в начале 2019 года, т.к. стороны считают, что это придаст новый импульс развитию торгово-экономических отношений между двумя странами.

The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly has called for the immediate release of all political prisoners in Georgia in a declaration adopted during the Assembly’s 32nd annual session held in Porto, Portugal on 3 July. The declaration expressed alarm over the developments since the parliamentary elections held on 26 October last year including reports of arbitrary detentions, violence and ill-treatment of protesters, opposition leaders and media representatives, as documented by civil society organizations and the Public Defender of Georgia. The declaration also called for new elections to be held in Georgia.
