Наблюдатель ПА ОБСЕ:

 "На состояние к 17:00, мы, лично, не сталкивались со случаями фальсификации", - заявил в беседе с корреспондентом АрмИнфо наблюдатель за парламентскими выборами в Армении, член Парламентской Ассамблеи ОБСЕ Нейл Саймон (Neil Simon).

По его словам, единственный сбой произошел с печатями в паспортах, но эту неполадку власти быстро устранили. "Тем не менее, слишком рано говорить об оценках этих выборов: наблюдатели от ОБСЕ все еще находятся на избирательных участках по всей стране и следят за ходом выборов. У нас не было возможности переговорить со своими коллегами, чтобы попытаться суммировать результаты проделанной работы", - резюмировал парламентарий.

Напомним, что глава Центральной избирательной комиссии (ЦИК) Армении Тигран Мукучян отреагировал на сообщение о том, что специальная печать, ставящаяся в паспорт проголосовавших граждан Армении, вскоре исчезает, хотя должна быть видна в течение суток. Он заявил, что причина была чисто техническая и уже решена.

The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly has called for the immediate release of all political prisoners in Georgia in a declaration adopted during the Assembly’s 32nd annual session held in Porto, Portugal on 3 July. The declaration expressed alarm over the developments since the parliamentary elections held on 26 October last year including reports of arbitrary detentions, violence and ill-treatment of protesters, opposition leaders and media representatives, as documented by civil society organizations and the Public Defender of Georgia. The declaration also called for new elections to be held in Georgia.
