Представители армянской диаспоры собираются на форум в Ереване по случаю 20-летия независимости Армении

Более пятиста представителей армянских общин со всего мира проводят встречу в Ереване на форуме, который также будет отмечать 20-летие независимости Армении после распада Советского Союза.

На форуме выступит президент Армении Серж Саргсян и президент самопровозглашенной Нагорно-Карабахской Республики Бако Саакян. Католикос Всех Армян Гарегин II и Католикос Киликии Арам I благословил начало процессий.

В своем выступлении на форуме Бако Саакян заявил, что "Объединение Родина-Диаспора является одним из краеугольных камней существования и укрепления независимой армянской государственности, а также сохранения национальной самобытности наших соотечественников, проживающих в разных частях земного шара».

Форум продлится сегодня и завтра.

Pezeshkian made his comments during a visit to the country's Atomic Energy Organization on 2nd November during which he met with senior managers from Iran’s nuclear industry.
