ФРАНЦИЯ ГОЛОСУЕТ

Во Франции открылись избирательные участки для голосования на президентских выборах. Правые-центристы добиваются переизбрания действующего президента Николя Саркози, заявляя, что лишь он может сохранить "сильную Францию". Но они столкнулись с серьёзным вызовом со стороны социалиста Франсуа Холланда, который заявил, что настал "черёд левых управлять страной".

В целом в выборах принимают участие 10 кандидатов, и если никто не наберет более 50% голосов, то будет назначен второй тур на 6 мая.

Участки на континентальной Франции и Корсике открыты до 18:00 (16:00 GMT), а избирательные участки в крупных городах останутся открытыми еще на два часа.

Первые официальные результаты будут обнародованы после закрытия последних участков в 20:00 (18:00 GMT).

Французского президента в настоящее время избирают сроком на пять лет.
