ЕС и ОБСЕ потратят 1,7 млн. евро на проведение демократических выборов в Армении в 2012 и 2013 годах

Европейский Союз и ОБСЕ реализуют в Армении программу стоимостью в 1,7 млн. евро, направленную на поддержку в проведении демократических выборов в 2012 и 2013 годах в Армении.

Как сообщили АрмИнфо в пресс-службе делегации Евросоюза, финансирование программы будет осуществлено ЕС, а реализует проект ОБСЕ. “Соответствующей мерой международные структуры подтверждают свое желание помочь Армении провести выборы, соответствующие международным стандартам. В рамках программы ожидается укрепление навыков гражданского общества, поддержка и укрепление защиты прав человека в стране. Также по программе предполагается усиление технических и специализированных навыков избирательной комиссии и полиции, а также повышение уровня информированности общества об избирательных правах и процедурах”, - отмечается в сообщении для прессы.
