Джон Хеферн:

США остаются приверженными мирному урегулированию нагорно-карабахского конфликта. Об этом заявил новый посол США в Армении Джон Хефферн на встрече с армянскими журналистами.

По его словам, в рамках Минской группы ОБСЕ ведется деятельность, прошли встречи и ожидаются новые. «Посредничество США в Минской группе столь же активно, скольроль сопредседателей от России и Франции, и  каких-либо изменений в работе не ожидается», - подчеркнул дипломат. 

Отвечая на вопрос о милитаристской риторике Азербайджана и инициированной им гонки вооружений, посол напомнил принятое в Довиле заявление, касающейся в том числе милитаристской риторики и гонки вооружений. «Страны Минской группы выразили свою твердую позиции в данном вопросе», - отметил Хеферн.

Pezeshkian made his comments during a visit to the country's Atomic Energy Organization on 2nd November during which he met with senior managers from Iran’s nuclear industry.
