Действующий председатель ОБСЕ, министр иностранных дел Литвы Аудронюс Ажубалис, комментируя встречу в Казани, подчеркнул важность продолжать прикладывать усилия для достижения всестороннего мирного урегулирования нагорно-карабахского конфликта.

“Я приветствую усилия в достижении общего взаимопонимания по ряду вопросов, решение которых будет содействовать созданию условий для одобрения Базовых принципов. Я надеюсь, что работа по согласованию нерешенных вопросов будет продолжена”, - отметил Ажубалис.

Он добавил, что ОБСЕ готова поддерживать и дополнять, включая также через Личного представителя в зоне конфликта, любые усилия, предпринятые на трехстороннем уровне и при содействии сопредседателей Минской группы ОБСЕ, чтобы положить конец конфронтации и нестабильности на Южном Кавказе.

Ажубалис подчеркнул необходимость усиления режима прекращения огня и мер по созданию доверия при участии гражданского общества. “Я поддерживаю лидеров следовать соглашениям, достигнутым на предыдущих трехсторонних встречах в Астрахани и Сочи, включая расследование возможных инцидентов на линии соприкосновения и воздержание от применения или угроз применения силы”, - подчеркнул Ажубалис.

According to AP, Putin addressed Xi as “dear friend” and said that Moscow’s ties with Beijing are “at an unprecedentedly high level.” Following their formal talks, they planned to have another meeting over tea with some of their top aides. The talks come the day after both attended a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the nearby Chinese city of Tianjin, and the day before a grand Chinese military parade in Beijing to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
