Минобороны РФ приступил к проверке боеготовности армии

Министерство обороны Российской Федерации объявило о проверке боеготовности подразделений в Южном военном округе (ЮВО), в которой примут участие до 8,5 тыс. человек, 900 единиц военной техники, 50 кораблей, 200 самолетов и вертолетов.

Об этом сообщил заместитель министра обороны РФ Анатолий Антонов. Он также сообщил, что "В духе доброй воли мы направили по каналам ОБСЕ уведомление европейским партнерам о базовых параметрах внезапной проверки."

Ранее сообщалось о том, что проверка началась в войсках Южного военного округа и частях ВДВ.

По словам министра обороны России Сергея Шойгу, в ходе проверки требуется оценить степень готовности Южного военного округа к реагированию на кризисные ситуации различного характера.

Как добавил Шойгу, также необходимо проверить вопросы готовности авиации и сил ПВО к отражению ударов воздушного противника и защите важных военных и государственных объектов. Отдельные соединения Воздушно-десантных войск перебросят к местам выполнения учебно-боевых задач в ходе внезапной проверки боеготовности войск Южного военного округа.
